Group Members, Present and Former: Oskar Vafek, Zlatko Tesanovic and Marcel Franz in Boulder, CO,

Present members of Prof. Tesanovic's research group are second-year graduate students Andres Concha and Valentin Stanev and postdoctoral research fellow Dr. Vladimir Cvetkovic.

The most recent former students are Prof. Oskar Vafek, now Assistant Professor at the Florida State University and NHMFL (following a postdoctoral research fellowship at Stanford University) and Dr. Ashot Melikyan, now postdoctoral research fellow at the Argonne National Laboratory. The most recent former postdocs are Prof. Marcel Franz, Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, and Dr. Qijin Chen, now at the University of Chicago. Prof. Sasha Dukan of Goucher College (Towson, Md.) is a long-term collaborator and a former member of the group. In the photo to the right, Oskar Vafek, Prof. Tesanovic and Marcel Franz are pictured atop a Colorado mountain peak enjoying a break from the grueling schedule of the inaugural NSF Boulder Summer School on superconductivity (July 2000).
