These are details about the IDL licenses within PHA (except for the MSX group). Hopefully this will help keep everyone up to date. Our customer number is 851012. See the notes at the bottom for a list of the kinds of licenses. The Computer Center has tried to align the expiration dates of as many licenses as possible on June 30th and to get them all on the same master department purchase order. (Ones not on the master department PO are handled separately or are not kept under maintenance).

The node-locked Computer Center clients (e.g. encke, munin, joshua) are NOT shown as running their own license servers because they are not running local servers. They check in the NFS-mounted license.dat file to find themselves listed with the right hostid. I am not sure whether Mary and Sharon are doing the same thing with acs13, acs14, stis2, etc. I am assuming that at least some of them are local installations, one per machine, with multiple license.dat files.
