The PUC Lab in Room 478 Bloomberg Center, Upper Level, is a computer lab reserved for the exclusive use of undergraduate physics students at Johns Hopkins University. The computers run computational and instructional software sued for physics courses offered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The main floor of Room 478 is used for the Intermediate/Advanced Physics Laboratory Courses. The computers and printer on this floor are also part of the PUC network.

An additional cluter of two computers, laser printer, and scanner is maintained in the General Physics Laboratory (165 Bloomberg) for use by undergraduate physics majors and by TAs for General Physics

The computers in the PUC Lab are set to reboot after every log off and around 3:30-4am each day.

Users have full administration powers to install software, but changes will be lost after reboot. Please contact PUC Lab Administration if you want to install software permanently on the computers
