These are departmental printers available to the general public (except for finmgrprinter & deptofficelp in room 366, which are dedicated to departmental budget analysts and administrative assistants, and dept7750, a color printer which is not free, and which requires an account to use). Please don't abuse the printers, as printing expenses are high and may force the Computer Center to institute a very annoying per-page accounting and billing system.

Notes:

1. Xerox note We have an on-site maintenance contract with Xerox running from 09/09/2005 to 12/31/06 (Agreement #207713 Version 4.00). For service issues, the Computer Center will call Xerox Support: 1-800-835-6100 or (503) 682-7377 (Fax is (503) 682-2980). If an N2125 is making gear grinding noises when actively printing, then have the service technician replace the "exit assembly"
2. Toner recycling Cartridges can be sent to the campus recycling coordinator. The proceeds are given to the United Way campaign. Contact them at recycle@jhu.edu 410-516-5592 to request toner pick-up (hopefully when you have a collection of cartridges).

4. The Xerox Phaser 7750 (called dept7750) had a one year warranty, which expired in 2006. We purchased an additional 2 years from WACA (Warranty Corporation of America) for this printer. To access that warranty service, call 866-289-5173 with the serial number from the printer (RW531799).
