JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY

The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins
University invites applications for a faculty appointment in
theoretical particle physics to begin in Fall of 2005 or later.  The
department is seeking candidates in any area of high-energy physics,
including string theory, particle cosmology, physics beyond the
Standard Model, Standard Model Physics.  The successful candidates
will be expected to teach effectively at the undergraduate and
graduate levels.


The appointments will most likely be at the level of Assistant
Professor, but more senior candidates may be considered in exceptional
cases.  Applicants should send three letters of reference, a
