Electroweak Precision
Tests in the Minimal Composite Higgs Model
September 16, 2005
The idea of the Higgs as a composite pseudo-Goldstone
boson of a strongly interacting sector has recently
found an interesting realization in a calculable extra-dimensional
scenario with a warped fifth dimension.
We study in detail a 5D minimal model based on an SO(5)/SO(4)
symmmetry, performing a detailed analysis of the electroweak
precision tests. We find that the strongest constraint
comes from Z->bb. Our conclusions can be generalized to a broader
class of 4D composite Higgs models.
