Collider Physics Applications of SCET
September 12, 2007

Originally developed to study B-decays, Soft-Collinear Effective Theory
(SCET) is increasingly also used to study collider processes. After an
overview, I'll focus on two recent applications: i.) a calculation of the
large-angle two-loop Bhabha scattering cross section and ii.) a new
framework to perform threshold resummation based on renormalization group
evolution in the effective theory.
