Meetings

everybody into room 462 at our last meeting. |
Meetings
SPS meets every Friday at 3 PM in the Bloomberg Center for Physics and Astronomy, room 462. Go
here for a campus map (the image is 132 KB, and on this
map, Bloomberg is number 41).
Every other week, we have a speaker come in to talk with us about
what he or she does. On days that we have no speaker, we watch a movie. The schedule of speakers
and topics is below, and will be updated as soon as possible.
Although most speakers will be discussing physics related topics,
people of ALL majors--from Chemistry to Africana Studies--are welcome at our meetings!
You do not need to sign up or already be a member to attend, all meetings are open to
anyone interested.
Although our board is familiar with many of the people in Bloomberg, there are lots of people
we don't know about, as well as people outside the Bloomberg faculty who might have interesting things
to talk about. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to talk to any of the board members.
