Liebeck was born in 1980 in London. From 1989-1999 he attended the Purcell School
of Music and then the Royal Academy of Music where he studied with Professor
Mateja Marinkovic, graduating in 2003.

Jack’s first public appearance was for BBC television, aged ten, when he played the role of young Mozart. Performing in concertos and recitals since the age of eleven, Jack’s appearances have taken him to Armenia, Belgium, France, Holland, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the USA, and Yugoslavia. Jack has appeared in many major venues across the UK including the Barbican Centre, Symphony Hall and Royal Festival Hall. Since the age of fourteen Jack has made concerto debuts with many acclaimed orchestras including the Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam, the Halle, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic, the English Chamber, the Bournemouth Symphony, the Lausanne Chamber, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestras.
Jack has toured in the UK and abroad with the Belgian National, the English Chamber and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestras and has appeared under the baton of several renowned conductors including Martyn Brabbins, Gabriel Chmura, Gunter Herbig, Alexander Lazarev, Sir Neville Marriner, Libor Pesek, Yuri Simonov, Bramwell Tovey, and Barry Wordsworth. Jack’s live performances have been broadcast on radio and television in Armenia, Holland, France, Norway, Poland, Yugoslavia, and in the UK on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Television. He also appears as a soloist on a [Warner Classics CD of Oscar Wilde Fairy Tales narrated by Stephen Fry and Vanessa Redgrave] with the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields under Sir Neville Marriner. Chamber music partners have included Bengt Forsberg, Itamar Golan, Lynn Harrell, Tim Hugh, Piers Lane, Leon MacCawley, Andrew Marriner and Charles Owen; festival appearances have included Bath, Cheltenham, Harrogate, Montpellier, Reims and Three Choirs. In 2002 Jack made his acclaimed London debut recital in a sold-out Wigmore Hall.
Last season Jack recorded the Dvorak Concerto with the BBC Concert Orchestra for BBC Radio 3, performed the Brahms Double Concerto with cellist Tim Hugh and the RSNO under Alexander Lazarev, the Bruch concerto in Yerevan with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra and the Beethoven Concerto on Polish radio with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Poland.
Jack’s debut disc on the new [QUARTZ] label was released in 2004 to enormous critical acclaim and was recently nominated for a Classical Brit Award.
Plans for this season include concertos and recitals in Armenia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the USA. Jack plays the 'Ex-Wilhelmj' Guadagnini dated 1785.
