Vectors can be added and subtracted. Symbolically it looks like adding or subtracting scalars but the expressions underly a more complex geometrical manipulation so one has to be aware of this and treat these operation with more respect! For vector addition place vectors head to tail and resultant vector goes from tail to head. For vector subtraction we draw the vectors head to head and the result goes from the tail of the first vector to the tail of the last vector in the subtraction. (draw vector addition and subtraction)
