Pressure at the bottom of the bay

we can use this to calculate the pressure on the bottom of the Chesapeake bay. The pressure is higher than an atmosphere by
equation54
so the total pressure at 50 m water depth is 6 times higher than at sea level. Ultimately high pressure is what limits the depth to which humans can dive.
