Dmitry Shapovalov Dmitry Shapovalov is a former graduate student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University. His research interests are in theoretical astrophysics, revolving around the fields of turbulence and magnetohydrodynamics. Special focus is the theory of magnetic dynamos. He studies them both analytically and via direct numerical simulations.
