The picture on the left of the page is an Adelie penguin. The picture on the right is a Curule Aedile. These subtle differences are important. The penguin, while possibly cuter, is not a curule magistrate sworn to your service.

Along with my colleague, Franciscus Apulus Caesar, I am responsible to you, the citizens of Nova Roma, for a number of things specified in our Constitution. I stand ready to fulfill my magesterial duties. I will act on all citizen contacts as quickly as I possibly can, and will always send you a note acknowledging receipt of your e-mail just as soon as I get it.
