Thesis Proposals & Dissertations

This page contains thesis proposals by graduate students in Physics & Astronomy at the Johns Hopkins University.

To complete the Graduate student requirements of our department we must pass several exams. The Graduate Board Oral Examination requires a 3-5 page written report to the student's Exam Committee explaining the background to a problem on which the student intends to do research. The thesis proposal home page lists several examples of proposals written by students who have completed the requirement. We hope you find this page both useful and informative as well as interesting. If you write a thesis proposal please throw it into a web page and send me the address. I suppose this would be a good place for an on-line thesis as well if anyone bothers with one. Just let me know.
