Went to the Fest for the third and final day, caught Clarence Gatemouth Brown at Soul School, where he went over various scales. He had a show in St. Louid that night, but two people bribed him to stay. He said he'd need a $100 bill to stay, and both folks slapped down a hundred. Rightfully enough, good ol' Clarence stayed for three more tunes. Not sure if he kept the money or not.

Left the fest to go to the nearby mall for food. Inside they had a special puppet exhibit, so after seeing the puppet museum in Atlanta, I had to check it out. Pretty cool, lots of stuff, and maybe even the original Fraggles were on display.

Outside the street was a huge LEGO awareness show, or something like that. An 18-wheeler filled with Lego paraphernalia was parked in front, with huge diaramas, all made of Lego. Pretty cool.

Went back to the show, caught some high-school kids that were actually pretty good. Saw Spiro Gyra play too, they weren't too bad, despite my usual apathy for 'smooth' jazz. Robert Jr. Lockwood was the final act on Heritage Stage, but he stopped early because the Blues stage was drowning him out. Eventually some people stopped the band on the Blues stage, instead of just turning them down, and Lockwood played a few more songs.

Went back to the pad and got some web page stuff setup. Added a picture for the first day and put the page in a better form. Things were starting to cook.
