Here I am with some great pictures from another great vacation. Brussels, Amsterdam, Dijon (Burgundy) and once again Paris. To top it off I had Jessica's company for 10 days which is certainly no horrible thing :)
We started out by flying to Paris. Getting in early in the morning, breezing through customs, we arrived at the train station to find our train cancelled, in fact all trains to Brussels are cancelled due to a train strike. After short train ride and a long, crowded bus we got ourselves into Brussels. Our hotel room was at the top of a long ladder but was quite pleasant and certainly quaint.
My favorite part of Brussels is certainly the unbelievable (cheap) Trappist beers which I can't say enough good things about. We walk around quite a bit and enjoy a relaxing evening. Nothing too exciting but certainly worth the night. |
