The band

DONNY SUAVE
Frontman Donny Suave started show business near his home in the OC as a backup dancer in the popular Britney Spears music video, "Oops, I did it again". Due to an addiction to Robitussin, he was passed up for the role of Ryan Atwood in the hit FOX drama "The OC", which made him realize his true passion was formation dancing. In addition to 98backsyncing, Donny models male bikini briefs for Bjorn Borg. His winning smile has gotten the band out of numerous copyright infringement lawsuits, and into several hot tubs. MARKY WHITE
Marky White was discovered in his hometown of Hickston, TX while pumping gas for a Disney exec traveling through the panhandle, and landed a role in 1996 as a member of "The All New Mickey Mouse Club". He acted as an understudy for the popular boyband "Big Bang", and honed his choreographic skills. He recorded the hit “Good Oscillations” as Marky Mark and the Groovy Gang in 2001. In 2003 Marky was sued for copyright infringement by Mark Walhberg. The subsequent financial ruin and divorce from wife Christina Aquilera led directly to his decision to move to Hawaii and form 98backsync. RICHie WHITE
Richie White grew up in Hickston, TX, together with his brother Marky until Marky was selected to be a member of the new Mickey Mouse club. On his own with only his family's substantial wealth to comfort him, Richie became a star euphonium player in the regional champion Hickston High Fightin' Border Fences marching band, but without proper talent representation was unable to forge a successful solo career beyond local commercials for a mattress discounting warehouse. Richie decided to re-unite with Marky, whose Hollywood insider connections allowed them to form the core of the cutting-edge pop sensation, 98Backsync. They relocated to Oahu where the weather is ideal for year-round formation dancing, and the rest is history... Joey BAYBEE
Joey doesn't talk much about his past. The youngest member of the band, he appeared on the band's doorstep on a stormy night. Joey said he was only 10 and doesn't remember what happened to his family. The band raised him as their own and the young boy took to dancing like a fish to tartar sauce. Joey devotes most of his time to the band, its songs and dance routines. Joey has said that he won't let the meteoric rise to popularity go to his head, that it’s all about the music. LANCE DROPPBAER
Lance was raised in Ellisville, Mississippi as a strict Southern Baptist. Lance first awed audiences with his stellar performances in the Southern Baptist Church boys' choir. Lance's charisma and sparkling white teeth made him a natural star. Lance was soon starring in the Mississippi Show Stoppers, a state-wide group sponsored by the Misissippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum. A talent scout spotted Lance during one of the Show Stopper performances and signed him up to 98backsync on the spot. In addition to performing with 98backsync, Lance starred as Tootsie in the off-broadway production of the same name and as Angel Schunard in broadway production of “Rent”. He moved to Hawaii to keep reaching for that rainbow.
