My COMAP mathematical modeling team. That is Mike Peterson, Parrish Brady, and Me. The contest was 3.5 days straight of mathematical fun. I think that this is from our first year in competition (1998). Our problem was to model the effect of a 1km asteroid hitting the south pole. We got an honorable mention for our solution.
