Glossary

Age: age of the stellar population in Myr.

Emission line fluxes: corrected for the Galactic dust extinction, expressed in units of 10-17ergs s-1 cm-2. Host dust extinction and stellar Balmer absorption corrections are not applied.

Galactic dust extinction: extinction due to dust in the Milky Way along the GRB line of sight , expressed as a color excess EB-V .

GRB: gamma-ray burst name

Luminosity distance: for the cosmology with H0= 70 km s-1 Ωm= 0.3 & ΩΛ= 0.7.

log M: stellar mass in solar units, as measured from the optical-NIR photometry.

Redshift: redshift of the host galaxy or GRB afterglow.

SED: spectral energy distribution of the host galaxy, corrected for the Galactic dust extinction.
